The heat race winners were JD Cordon, and Joey Coaxum, who was making his first series start.
In the feature, Joey Coaxum pulled off the win, becoming the first driver to win in his series debut since Chase Fitzgerald turned the trick, on Feb. 9, 2008!
Congratulations to Joey for this accomplishment!!!!
Following Joey across the line was JD Cordon in second, Kenner Brown III in third, Romay Venta in fourth, and Scott Stevens in fifth!
Next up for the SouthEast Champ Kart Series is a date with the ASA Late Model Series, on July 11 at Charlotte County Motorsports Park in Punta Gorda, FL! Look for Joey to run strong there too... because he will have some additional support at the track that night cheering him on...... Joey is the cousin of ASA Late Model star Stephen Nasse, and is also related to ASA veteran Justin Larson!!!
